Lara Stone Suing French Playboy For Publishing Unauthorized Nude Photos
Dutch supermodel Lara Stone is not happy with Playboy. She is now suing the French version of the magazine for publishing unauthorized nude pictures of her in the June 2010 issue. Stone will be going against both Playboy and photographer Greg Lotus legally for using nude photographs of her without permission. "Playboy had no right to publish these unauthorized photographs," she said. "It's not the kind of publication I would ever choose to appear in. I feel I have no option but to take steps to protect my reputation." The magazine published the photos last month after they were taken a year ago by photographer Greg Lotus, but Lara says she never allowedPlayboy France to publish them. The Daily Mail report:
"The Dutch model, who is married to British comedian David Walliams, said the magazine had 'no right' to publish the pictures, which include topless snaps, last month.I don't understand, Lara has a ridiculous hot body so wouldn't she want as many guys as possible to put masturbate to it while she is somewhere far away? If you have seen some of her full-frontal modeling work for artsy fashion magazines you know she is definitely not against nudes. But I think she believe Playboy is too low-class for a supermodel of her status. And having her nude photos in this particular magazine would hurt her career going forward if the modeling industry think she posed for Playboy. The funny thing is that by suing them now over using her naked photos without her permission many more people will see the images at issue. This is good publicity for both parties... Anyway, here are the offending photos (NSFW) below. Click on pictures to enlarge.
She has instructed lawyers Schillings to commence proceedings in Paris against French Playboy and photographer Greg Lotus.
Stone said in a statement: "Playboy had no right to publish these unauthorised photographs. It's not the kind of publication I would ever choose to appear in. I feel I have no option but to take steps to protect my reputation."
Stone, 26, and Walliams, 38, tied the knot at Claridge's Hotel in London in May after dating for around a year."
